Company Types
There are two main company types: Free and Premium. They are described below. Newly created companies are assigned the Free type by default.

| Free |  | Can claim and manage up to 5 devices. Sub-companies, the Alerts section, and Syslog (device logs and diagnostics export) are not available. VPN is limited to a 30-day trial with 100 MB of data, which cannot be topped up. |
| Premium |  | Can claim and manage an unlimited number of devices. Full access to sub-companies, Alerts, Syslog, and VPN (including the ability to purchase additional VPN data). |
Type Inheritance
The company type can be changed only for a parent company. All child companies automatically inherit the company type of their parent.
The figure below shows an example of a company structure with a parent company called Northwind Networks and one child company. The parent company is of the Premium type, so the child company is of the Premium type as well.
